Creating A Soundtrack

In our latest Media lesson we were showed how to make our own music and sounds to put into our opening 2 minuets. This provides us with an alternative if we are unable to find music or sound that we can use.

By going into a music room we are able to open up a program that allows us to record what we play on the Keyboard but change the sounds. This allows us to e creative and try out different ideas that we think could work in our 2 mins. There are no limitations to what you can do with this apart from the fact that I was unable to fund any sounds that I wanted to include as the music.

Within my opening 2 minuets of my film I was hoping to have a gun shot, there will be nothing on screen, you will only hear the gun shot.

Location - Mansion Gardens (Leatherhead)

I have chosen to select the location of my 2 min clip to be Mansion Gardens because I like the scenery and it seems to enforce the idea that I would like to show.

 

This location provides all of the setting that I require for my opening 2 min clip. It leaves me with an escape rout for my hit-man and a place to hide the body of the dead man.

 

There were other locations which were suitable but I didn't feel that provided as much as Mansion Gardens.

 

When choosing my location that main things that I was looking for were a small area, surrounded by bushes, had a grassy surroundings but also a enough open space for the setting to be seen.

Trouble

So far out of the whole task of creating our opening 2 minuets clip that thing which has provided the most challenge has been the getting hold of a gun to use.
I have looked at many fake guns that we could use but all of them didn't look very good on camera.
This was proving a very difficult job for me.
I remember that I have been in a short remake of`Sucker Punch ran by my friend. The gun used in that I am hopin to get a hold of. This is the closest I could get to a realistic gun.
