For people within this age barrier they want to live their life with as much thrill as they can. This means seeing action film, playing sports/extreme sports, ect.

When it comes to music, the 15 to 16's would be just ending their musical experimentaion, meaning they have found the music that they like and what they are most likely to listen to from now on. For most teens this means that they have either chosen pop, rap, ect. Or Rock. Both of which does not have a massive impact on the genre of films they like.
