Film Editing

After getting all of the footage it came time to move on and begin the edition presses. This was not a difficult job because I knew exactly where each clip would need to be cut.

The main challenge was the continuity, some clips that I had filmed didn't fully continue from the previous clip. They looked like they were a few minuets after the previous clip, This meant that I would either have to re film those scenes or I would have to work around it.
Because of the fact that to re film I would need my set to be covered in snow again I found that it would have to work around it, there wasn't enough time to re film the whole of my work.

I used the fading edition to make it seem like there has been a jump in time in the film, although very short, it is used to cut down any unnecessary movement from the character that the audience would find boring.

The cutting of the clips was not as easy as I expected but it still proved to be an easy task because of the how I filmed, I found that it was easy to sync each clip into each other.

In one certain clip I filmed (filmed more than once) I found that towards the begining of one clip the sound and movement was fine but towards the end the sound got effected by the snow, while in another clip of this section ther begining was too shacky and the end was fine in sound quality. This meant that I was going to have to use the beggingin of one clip and the end of the other, this was am easy prossess, the only challenge was the continuity, I had to cut each clip so when one ended the other started at the point where we left of from the other.
